We are thrilled to announce that AVENUE JAM has received official acceptance from the Internal Revenue Service to be recognized for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status. This is a major milestone in our journey as an organization, and we couldn't have reached it without the support of our community. What does this mean? A 501(c)(3) designation formally recognizes AVENUE JAM as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the public good. Now that we're fully approved, donations made to AVENUE JAM will be tax-deductible for our supporters, and we will be eligible for grants and funding opportunities that were previously out of reach. This step reflects our commitment to operating with transparency and accountability as we grow. It is a signal to our partners, donors, and community members that AVENUE JAM is building something lasting: an organization with the structure and integrity to support our mission for years to come.
